For parents and educators

These books are made to be read aloud. The language is short, and the pictures carry much of the story.

Calm bedtime reading

Each published book moves toward rest: a quiet mountain, a finished gift, a last gentle page. The tone stays warm and reassuring.

An early introduction to mythology

Children meet gods and myths they may hear again later in school, first as bedtime pictures rather than as frightening adult stories.

Simple themes children can understand

Patience, curiosity, kindness, and careful making are named in the books themselves. There is no extra moral speech added on top of the myth.

The published titles can sit beside other picture books about making, listening, and growing. They are stories for a lap or a quiet carpet, not lesson plans.

The creator behind the stories

Meet Dalid Mosquera

Creator & Author of Bedtime on Mount Olympus

I'm Dalid Mosquera, the creator and author of Bedtime on Mount Olympus, a growing children's series that introduces young readers to the wonder of Greek mythology.

Growing up, I wasn't naturally drawn to reading and often had a hard time staying interested in books. That changed when I discovered Greek mythology. The stories of heroes like Hercules, Achilles, and Odysseus captured my attention in a way nothing else had.

What fascinated me wasn't only the adventures. I loved how interconnected everything was—the gods, heroes, family relationships, rivalries, hierarchies, and the lessons hidden within the myths. These stories created an entire world while also offering imaginative explanations for people, nature, and the world around us.

My goal is to take the wonder and storytelling of ancient mythology and reshape it into gentle, approachable stories that young children can enjoy and grow up with.

Outside of writing, I work as an engineer in the power industry. I've always enjoyed building things and understanding how systems fit together, and I bring that same mindset to creating the expanding world of Bedtime on Mount Olympus.
